| 1/5/05 | Follow Caltrans Cat track to hilltop, then broke trail up road to pinyons above the "LV" in about an hour. Skied down in 10 minutes. (s) | So DEEP! Pushed downhill the last 1/4 mile of flattish gully. Looked down on the fog at sunset as it rolled in, then skied down into it. Brush is mostly covered, tall bushes on steeps are easily avoided. |
